Kitchenette Cake
An easy to make cake that is very good with strawberries!
Ingredients
- 1â…“ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- â…“ cup soft shortening I use Crisco. Any will do.
- â…” cup milk
- 1 tsp flavoring vanilla
- 1 egg
Instructions
- Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan
- Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt
- Add the shortening, milk and flavoring and beat for 2 minutes
- Add egg and beat 2 more minutes
- Pour into pan and bake at 350℉ for 30 to 35 minutes
